Benefits of having a Picosecond laser vs Traditional Q Switch laser
The key difference between a nanosecond (Q-Switch ND:YAG) and picosecond laser is the speed at which each device delivers energy. Nanosecond lasers deliver energy with a slower pulse, measured in nanoseconds – a billionth of a second. Picosecond lasers deliver energy with a much faster pulse, measured in picoseconds – a trillionth of a second.
We can treat:
- Multicolored tattoos, including blues and greens
- Hard to remove black ink
- Stubborn, previously treated tattoos
How it works
Throughout a treatment laser energy is delivered to the unwanted tattoo, targeting the ink and breaking it down into smaller particles. The tiny particles are then eliminated through the body’s natural processes, resulting in faster clearance with fewer treatments than traditional lasers.
